We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipelines Engineer Lead with experience as a Piping Engineer, Civil Engineer or related career, to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a field mining project in Madagascar, in a multicultural environment with professionals from all over the world!

About the role :

Plan and coordinate the engineering design according to the deadlines and required project standards

Ensure that the engineering designs of the discipline are consistent with the scope and objectives of the Project

Leadership of a team specializing in pipelines

Plan, schedule, execute, and coordinate engineering design tasks, including complex features such as conflict resolution and / or difficult coordination requirements

Provide technical direction and assign work to subordinate personnel such as engineers, designers, draftsmen, technicians, and others who assist in the performance of specific tasks;

Responsible for the review and development of engineering documents such as calculations, specifications and layout plans for long distance pipelines;

Plans, coordinates or prepares material specifications;

Responsible for the review and development of executive reports;

Provide support to the project manager in the management of project requirements and coordination with other engineering areas.

The project has a duration of at least 1.5 years. The work will be on site in Madagascar with a shift of 8 weeks work x 4 weeks off.

The company covers travel and accommodation expenses. Unique opportunity for international experience with a multicultural team!

About you :

valid passport to travel

Pipelines Engineer, Civil or related career;

Professional experience over 15 years;

Analytical skills for solving piping engineering problems;

Experience in pipeline layout design and massive earthworks, as well as pipeline construction and installation;

Experience in the development of technical specifications for pipelines, construction and assembly of pipelines;

Experience in the development of Execution Plans for pipeline projects and in estimating pipeline route investments;

Understanding of engineering planning and control methods, including computerized methods;

Experience in leadership of multidisciplinary groups and ability to work in a team;

Proven field work experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
