The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Sarajevo, in cooperation with USAID - IESC WHAM and the Federal Employment Service, is implementing a project "Development Educational Center for Contemporary Furniture Design and Manufacture Technologies".
The objective of the Development Educational Center as an organized system, with references and experience in education, is to provide permanent and specializing education in the field of wood process technology, wood product development, and CAD CAM technology and CNC management.
Through specialized education and professional training, The Development Educational Center provides the training and retraining of unemployed adults and workers employed in the wood industry who need additional qualification or additional training in certain technological processes in wood industry.
The realization of the Project is in the final stage. Within the project and at the end of its realization, a forum "Development and Educational Center" is planned to be held.
Problem Statement and Objectives of the Assignment :
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Sarajevo is a host of a forum "Development and Educational Center". The Forum will be held on April 3rd, 2020 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Sarajevo and will gather wood industry companies from the Bosnia and Herzegovina, government and non-government organizations and the Project trainers and trainees.
This Forum is intended to be a meeting place for all professional, managerial and administrative employees of wood industry companies, as well as those who wish to become one.
As a part of this Forum a lecture on the topic Good practices of cooperation between industry and education in Slovenia will be held.
We would like to engage an expert volunteer who would share his / hers experiences in the field of education and cooperation with the wood industry in Slovenia.
This lecture can provide some very useful information to wood industry companies from the Bosnia and Herzegovina.
