The Position :

The candidate is responsible for TELECOM SERVICES Design and Planing relted activities (former NDIO) related to IP / MPLS Networks Solutions.

Leading solutions discussions / definitions focused on High Level Design and Low Level Design (LLD) configurations to any new solution feature or live network interventions planning and supporting also, Validation Tests, Pilots, integration troubleshooting and final deliverable documentation review, respecting customer needs, schedule agreements and cost control responsibility, respecting safety & healthy environmental requirements with high level performance.

According to project needs travelling to other cities and foreign countries is possible.

Provides onsite and back office support for international IP / MPLS projects.

Attending meetings and workshops, flexible working attitude according to project needs.

Qualifications - External

Requirements :

Degree in Computer, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.

At least 5 years of experience in IP / MPLS networks.

Ability to analyze, discuss and define network requirements and review assumptions / premises to used for a IP / MPLS solutions, creating and understanding architecture and High Level Designs (HLD), based on customer applications needs to be able to lead solutions definnitions regarding network elements capacity and features definitions and interactions;

Leadership ability to lead integration services for IP / MPLS Networks. Ability to support TPM, customer and PM to review activities definitions and demands to support implementation and / or migration planning, defining detail and phases based on technical and project priorities;

Analyze IP / MPLS Networks HLD's to develop test plans to validate all solution's scenarios and features proposed, to be able to execute first commercial activation (PILOT), using it for knowledge transfer for integration teams;

Analyze IP / MPLS Networks to be able to review and / or develop the first version of Low Level Design (LLD) to orient validation tests;

Advanced practical knowledge on :

Routing and Switching;

TCP / IP;

IP / MPLS Protocol;

IP / MPLS Services (VLL, Pseudowires, L2VPN, L3VPN, IP Dedicated and etc);

At least theory advanced knowledge on :

Multicast;

Logical solutions for services protection and redundancy;

Logical solutions for interrogation with external elements like DSLAMs, GPON, BRAS, RR and others;

Concepts and best practices for IPv4 ->

IPV6 migration;

Advanced level English language;

Available for local and international travel;

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;

Willingness to learn new things with a good attitude;

Customer service, communication and problem-solving skills;

Experience in IP / MPLS Networks designs.

Desirables :

Experience in Nokia, Cisco, Juniper switches / routers;

Experience in CORE, MetroEthernet, Backhaul, mobile CORE and WIFI offload gateways network applications;

Certifications related to concepts related above, like Nokia SRA, CCIE or similar level from other vendor.

ALU service concepts like Epipe, APipe, IPipe, CPipe, VPLS, VPRN, IES, SAP, SDP e etc;

External Routing Protocols (ie. : BGP, MPBGP);

MPLS (ie. : RSVP-TE, LDPoRSVP);

HQoS
