Our Software Support Analyst are the go-to contact for our clients regarding their Sales & Use Tax Software. You will be successful in this role if you possess strong communications skills, are self-motivated and have an interest in technology.

We are looking for candidates who have the desire to grow and learn, so a technical background is not essential but it is a plus.

Our Software Support Analysts will go through a variety of trainings and will become experts on how our products work.

As a Software Support Analyst, you will :

  • Respond to inbound requests from all channels (phone, portal, e-case) within prescribed service levels.
  • Identify, assess criticality, and prioritize resolution of all new and existing issues.
  • Monitors, documents, and manages the resolution process in a timely manner, while effectively communicating status with the client to maintain a high rate of client satisfaction.
  • Offer accurate and efficient resolutions to cases, with assistance from Senior Technical Support Analysts if necessary.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Partner with Solution Engineers and Client Representatives to communicate recommended solutions to external customers
  • Accountable for all aspects of data quality control and timely delivery of processed data
  • Participates in the Knowledge Management process through creation and use of materials.
  • Adheres to all Sovos Compliance and Technical Support policies and procedures.
  • Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Advance English Skills
  • JAVA, SQL training and experience is a plus
  • Ability to understand data, system configurations, articulate technical concepts and derive solutions
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, complete varied tasks with enthusiasm and manage deadlines
  • Penchant for data analysis, working independently to solve problems
  • Ability to prioritize workload and effectively manage time in order to meet objective
  • Previous client support / service experience preferred
