As a member of the ACS organization, your focus is to deliver expert technical services and support the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs.

This involves onsite technical delivery and providing post-sales technical support for our Middleware stack products.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member you are expected to deliver high quality technical expertise to Oracle customers through ACS projects and services.

Because of substantial customer interfacing, a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the absolute highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Having business acumen and knowledgeable in IT Industry current trends is a plus for this position.

In addition you are expected to possess solid and demonstrable leadership skills and experience, as you will be expected to lead teams of engineers at customer's facilities when delivering services.

This position also requires that you have previous experience performing in roles with IT Architectural responsibilities.

An IT Architecture and Cloud certification are highly desirable (eg. OCI Architect, TOGAF).

As a Senior Principal Advanced Support Engineer you are expected to be a superb expert member of the project teams. You have to be highly skilled in all major areas of Oracle technologies accountable for this role : Middleware (WLS, OSB, SOA, OAM, OIM, etc), Database, Engineered Systems, IaaS, PaaS, Operating Systems and Programming Languages, ideally Java, Python and Java Programming Frameworks.

You should be familiar and experienced with IaaS and PaaS technologies, ideally OCI or any other Cloud Provider. You are also expected to have solid knowledge and experience with Automation IaC tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chef and familiarity with DevOps practice and continuous delivery.

In addition you will have to have demonstrable experience in project management and working with customers in technical leadership roles.

You are expected to lead engineering teams through all the phases of technical delivery, from architectural phases until resolving critical issues during go live phases.

The Senior Principal Advanced Support Engineer acts as a trusted expert technical advisor for customers, Oracle ACS sales teams and ACS management.

This position demands intense collaboration with ACS sales teams assessing technical proposals and supporting technical presales efforts, which require interacting with customers and other Oracle teams outside of ACS.

English both, Spoken and Written. A Computer Science or similar Master's degree. You should have at least 10 years of related experience prior to taking this position.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs.

This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services.

A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, you are a guru, with strong expertise across the stack & tiers (application and system), focused in the creation and management of business solutions using Oracle technology, the operations surrounding it, and the Oracle services infrastructure needed to achieve the highest service levels (e.

g., availability, performance, etc.) and consequent high customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for setting overall technology direction for key areas to invest resources in, building internal expertise and leveraging knowledge within the Support organization.

You will be expected to resolve and help guide resolution of multiple highly difficult and complex problems and escalations involving several product areas, while providing consultation to senior technical advisors on projects, reviewing their work and advising areas for self-advancement.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products / services / processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.

Bachelor*s and Master*s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Advanced degree such as MBA and / or Ph.D. a plus) 10 years related experience prior to taking this position.

In addition, extensive experience with Oracle*s core products, applications, and tools. Only proven top performing candidates of high integrity in previous job positions / grades are considered.
