About the role

The Lead-Marketing (Product) or Regional Lead Marketing for Explosives and Services Underground , leads the delivery of the marketing plan relevant to the product / service, supports the sales team in presenting value propositions to our customers, proposes the strategies and business plan to deploy UG's explosives and services solutions in the region, develops capabilities and coordinates the implementation of new technologies.

What you will bring

  • Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 3 years in underground downstream operations
  • 3 years of experience in Explosives Services or Technical Assistance (desirable)
  • Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
  • Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable
  • Ability to negotiate and make presentations of technical / commercial proposals.
  • Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor & / or customer relationships.
  • Financial acumen & budgeting experience.
  • Capacity for financial business analysis, P&L, business cases, etc
  • Ability to carry out commercial and marketing strategies.
  • System applications required for tasks : SAP, C4C, Office, Power BI.

    What you will be doing

    Key Accountabilities Determines recommended product and service pricing for customer bids based on market pricing and aligned with Global product pricing policy Provides cross functional leadership on Product Stewardship including but not limited to quality, safety, community, environment and regulatory compliance.

    Aligns regional product strategy with Global product strategy Participates in global commercialization process for product involved as the regional owner at each stage of the process As part of the global commercialization process, ensures deep understanding of customer needs.

    Be the voice of the customer in offer development and new products / services Manages competitor product comparisons, market intelligence, long-term market outlook for product, customers and competitors Ensures compliance with global pricing policies and implementation of pricing strategies for products, services and technologies across customers and markets to maximise profitability within the regional’s market environment Leads product initiatives / projects as required Provides business development support to product teams as required for key clients.

    Travel requirements :

  • 30% in the Latam Region : Caribe, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile and Argentine
  • Languages :

  • Advanced English and Portuguese (desirable)
  • Regional Headquarters :

    Santiago Chile, base (desirable) of the role.
