What wouldsome of your responsibilities include?

Responsibilities

ProcessAutomation Learning Services is looking for a Training Facilitator that can bea valuable contributor in leading interactions of Schneider-

Electric Foxborodivision’s customers and staff. This trainer is expected to help achieveexceptional performance with Process Automation Products and processes.

Encourages full participation, promotes mutual understanding and cultivatesshared responsibility in the formal and informal learning situations.

Experience with Process control systems and PLCs will be an asset.

Thisjob requires an individual who enjoys learning and considers themselves a selflearner. This job will keep the Instructor at the cutting edge of technology.

The individual must also be fluent in making technology and usage clear andrelevant to technical professionals. Opportunities exist to be a subject matterexpert for new exciting technologies.

Job requires an individual who considersthemselves as a life-long technology learner and is self-motivated to learn newtechnologies as they are released.

Educationor Training experience with Adult learners will also be an asset.

Thisjob will have the responsibility of supervising all South America Training.This will be assisting in ensuring training in South America has equipmentsetup, language conversion, and a focal point for information relating totraining and training quotations and support of sales.

Dutiesand Responsibilities

  • Teachesa variety of standard tuition and field courses to customers andSchneider-electric engineers.
  • Modifiesand / or create courses to meet specific customer’s needs per decisions withmanagement and the customer.
  • Develop,test and implement new modules in support of courses with minimal direction.
  • Workingwith other areas of the company to bridge technological leaps as a learningconsultant for modifications to present courses and creation of new courseofferings.
  • Applicationof system analysis techniques and procedures including consulting with users todetermine learning needs.
  • Coordinatesthe availability of courseware and training materials with customers.
  • Explainand market learning programs and classes to prospective clients.
  • Conductlearning needs analysis to ensure training will meet customer’s requirements.
  • Interactwith all product manufacturing, delivery, and sales divisions to ensure thecorrect learning offering is being created.
  • Conductonsite training courses that are customized to meet the needs of the customers,this requires a flexible schedule.
  • Bemulti-lingual in both English and Spanish
  • Beable to work in a remote location with minimum of oversight.
  • WorkingConditions

    Normaloffice environment, with no extreme exposure to work hazards or environmentalconcerns. While performing the duties ofthis job, the employee is regularly required to stand.

    The employee must regularly lift and / or moveup to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionallylift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

    Qualifications

    Education / Experience

    Educationand / or experience equivalent to a Technical degree is required, Bachelor'sdegree in an Engineering discipline or Computer Science are preferredcandidates.

    SpecificQualifications

  • Toperform this job successfully, an individual must have working knowledge andexperience in : Internet Explorer;Microsoft Excel;
  • Microsoft Outlook; Microsoft Word; Microsoft PowerPoint;Windows Operating System; and Virtual Workstations.

  • Abilityto present, demonstrate, and show expertise with differing audiences variedfrom no experience to subject matter experts.
  • Classroomtraining experience in a technical environment.
  • Experienceand knowledge of plant operations, e.g., Power, Nuclear, Petrochemical, and theProcess industry.
  • Communications,networking, (CISCO Certification, e.g.) desired.
  • CyberSecurity and Active Directory GPO experience desired.
  • CourseDevelopment experience and providing teaching materials.
  • Understandingof the Adult Learning requirements.
  • Abilityto define problems and collect data, establish facts and draw validconclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technicalinstructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract andconcrete variables.
  • Travel

    Up to30% in North America, possibly including international training classes whichrequires a valid passport.
