As a Finance and Strategy Sr. Analyst, you will be a critical thought partner to all business units and support important strategic initiatives to scale the company as it expands the business.
The successful candidate will challenge the status-quo to drive business insights and continuous improvement, be data and results oriented, have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, possess a high comfort in financial modeling and analysis and a knack for making the complex simple.
In this role you will serve and collaborate with the Five Stars by SumUp community as an independent contributor and will report into the Head of Finance.

What you will do :
Drive key strategic decision making with strong data analytics with key partners in go to market organizations to support revenue growth, customer acquisition, and churn reduction
Manage and develop financial models - including analyzing large data sets - that guide our strategic decision-making on revenue drivers, new initiatives, user acquisition, go-to-market efforts, by assessing financial return and ROI
Drive and expand unit economics reporting (LTV, CAC, payback) across sales channels, products, and revenue streams to assess key opportunities for growth
Manage cohort data for key metrics tracking to drive accuracy in forecasting for revenue and churn
Align operational models to key financial models for accurate reporting and projections
Partner with departments (marketing, operations, sales, and R&D) to analyze and monitor the financial impact of key decisions across the company
Track OKR’s and forecast the impact of new product initiatives, new user intake, and market trends
Support and help prepare materials for leadership discussions, Board presentations and updates on Company performance
You’ll be great for this role if :
You have 3-5 years of relevant in-house finance / FP, corporate development / strategy, industry or investment banking, or strategy consulting experience.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance preferred.
You possess understanding of payments and SaaS product & technology is preferred.
You bring strong experience building and maintaining complex financial models.
