The management of Rural Chile & Peru offers the opportunity to join its team as a Senior Credit Analyst , directly reporting to the Rural Credit Analysts Team Leader.
The position is located in Santiago, Chile.
The main objectives and responsibilities of the position include :
Support the Commercial Team in structuring and presenting new credit proposals aligned with the updated Sweet Spot and maintain the assigned portfolio up to date (In-Control), and fully aligned with current policies and RAS.
Develop / deepen knowledge about the different sectors in which our clients participate, both in Chile and Peru, in order to provide an adequate basis for decision-making.
Actively participate in meetings with clients.
Develop experience in relation to the different products offered by Rural in both Chile and Peru, in order to actively support the team in evaluating the different strategic structures proposed.
Sustain a fluid and constant dialogue with different counterparts, both external (clients) and internal (Coverage Team, Products, Sustainability Team, Domain Risk, Legal, FAR, Heads of Sector, etc.).
Incorporate (as part of the work culture) the correction of the central points of Sustainability evaluation, in line with the Group's global efforts.
Act as an active representative of the first line in the different credit approval instances : RCCC, and sustain a direct dialogue with CA WR.
Actively support the various internal ongoing projects (Credit Lens, Credit Core, Data Quality, New Product Approvals, Audit, etc.)

Which key performance indicators apply to this position?
Teamwork with the local Coverage team (Bankers, Relationship Managers and Middle Office) and with the different global specialists, in order to achieve both the financial and In-Control objectives.
Being an active member of the Deal Teams (Feedback 360).
Quality (advanced written English level) of Credit Applications and other internal documents (Call Reports, Sector Papers, etc.
in line with the strategy and objectives of the 1st Line.
Average response time, both for internal requirements and for the customer.
High-quality presentations in committees (fluent oral English).
Correct risk assessment, including avoiding double jumps in the ratings assigned to customers.
Requirements for the Position :
A minimum of 6-7 years of experience in credit analysis in the banking industry.
Advanced Spanish and English (written and spoken) : necessary to connect and communicate effectively with clients.
Experience in the Rural finance sector (desirable).
