An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Controls Specialist - EcoSys . This position requires providing hands on expertise in the configuration, implementation, and administration, for an Out of The Box Hexagon EcoSys environment across our global regions.
Additionally, the role requires providing on-project support for cost management as well as the training and development of additional project administrators / super users.

With varied experience in industrial EPC and EPCM projects, your skilled guidance in influencing global project cost management is crucial to the delivery of sustainable and successful outcomes for our clients.
Configure and support EcoSys platform in a fully integrated Hexagon environment (SPF, SDx, S3D, SMAT)
Liaise with key IT and on-project stakeholders to align global implementation of EcoSys
Perform analysis of project cost management and prepare and present results and recommendations to project stakeholders.
Provides guidance and consultation for cost management resources project managers
Provide oversight and guidance for project change management.
Conduct forecasting efforts to appropriate levels of detail from bottoms-up to Rough Order of Magnitude.
Assist the project controls team in all aspects of cost control, progress measurement and cost forecasting.
Deep knowledge of the managed Project Controls sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
Provide support through technical excellence in systems and procedures across both Cost Control and Planning / Scheduling.
Degree in engineering, and / or business administration is desireable
Minimum 10 years’ Metals and Minerals experience in multi-disciplinary project controls management including cost control, planning and scheduling, change management and progress measurement in the field of engineering and construction.
Minimum 5 years’ hands on experience managing entire life-cycle for projects in Hexagon EcoSys is a must
Technical software requirements Successful candidates must have proven EcoSys Administration experience
Ability to effectively communicate verbal and written positions and conclusions regarding project and business interests.
Experienced in cost control, forecasting, progress measurement, analytical reviews, monthly report preparation within an engineering and project related environment.
Some experience in scheduling is and preferable
Proven ability to manage, motivate and influence employees at all levels and be committed to mentoring and coaching onsite personnel.
Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills will ensure success in this demanding role.
Capable of ensuring adherence to recommended Project Management best practices
Fluency in English and Spanish Preferred
Must be willing to travel
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
