The Business Analysis Senior Supervisor is an intermediate management-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team.
The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Supervise a business analysis team (consisting of support staff and / or entry-level analysts) with responsibilities including work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, and other duties as assigned
Improve process efficiencies in support of unit objectives and recommend new work procedures
Ensures resource gaps are addressed as a priority to avoid business service disruption
Support quality and control function, including performing risk assessments / tests and evaluating process procedure changes
Work as a team to achieve objectives and solve problems based on analysis of information
Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedent
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
2-5 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated analytical, organizational and presentation skills
Proven ability to work independently and in a team

Bachelor's degree / University degree or equivalent experience
Additional Responsibilities :
Gather, analyze and document business requirements : questioning, challenging and proposing innovative, automated solutions where necessary.
Ensure correct supporting artefacts are produced for each project including the FRDs, EPICs, User stories etc.
Conduct reviews of the relevant requirements and solution with Stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with keys stakeholders.
Communicating progress of the project(s) to relevant parties including, but not limited to Senior Sponsors, Business Sponsors, Steering Committees and Program Management Office as appropriate.
Support training activities for the impacted groups.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Knowledge / Experience :
Detailed understanding of SWIFT messaging for MT1,2 and 9 series
Knowledge of Instant Payments, Domestic (e.g. Target2, EURO1, CHAPS) flows and Cross-border flows
Insightful knowledge and hands on experience on different file formats for SWIFT, FED, CHIPS etc like MT101, MT103, MT202, ISO XML formats (pain.
001, pain.002, pacs.008, pacs.009, pacs.002), IDOC, EDIFACT formats etc.
Detailed understating of Payment messaging and end-to-end flows from Client initiation to Clearing and settlement
Excellent communication skills with ability to lead discussions in meetings / conference calls
Good presentation skills and ability to create process flows using MS-PowerPoint or MS-Visio
Experience in Business Analysis / Functional Requirements in medium to large scale programs.
Experience in managing large technical and / or process related projects
Industry knowledge of payments and its changing landscape
Understanding of Agile methodology and tools like Jira, Confluence
Knowledge of the software development life cycle
