The Manager, Sales Operations LATAM is responsible for working with the sales team to develop, deploy and enforce the best practices, procedures, and tools necessary to ensure consistency, quality, and maximum efficiency of the department.
In addition, this person will act as a primary operational interface with other Sovos department leaders (e.g., Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Support, and Professional Services).
More specifically you will .
Work closely with the Sales Leaders across LATAM to ensure that the sales operations team is meeting the needs of the sales team in terms of reporting, user support, and manager support.
Be responsible or partially responsible for the following processes : territory alignment, quota coverage, and commission plan creation.
Partner with sales leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Lead and develop a high functioning sales operations team, while sharing best practices with peers for broader success across the organization.
Build and implement sales reporting processes and key metrics; proactively monitor sales activities to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency.
Evaluate sales forecasting results and trends.
Conduct training sessions to educate the sales team on corporate functions, reporting and tools available to them
Drive consistency and operational excellence.
Collaborate with the regional sales operations managers to ensure consistency and efficiency between the teams.
Work with the other Sales Operations Managers (NA, EUR) to ensure that global sales operations responsibilities are being met as needed.
Coordinate with dedicated Business Operations Integration team for Sales following the acquisition by Sovos of a new entity in LATAM.
What We Need From You
Bilingual (Spanish, English); Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus
Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales operations or other operational roles.
Strong management, organizational and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal, telephone and electronic communications skills
Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and employees, working effectively in a global team environment with shared responsibilities
Experience with basic system administration and knowledge of applications including : Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
