Do you want to be at the heart of the Corporate & Investment Research?

We're looking for a Senior Research Associate to be based out of our Chile office. The ideal candidate is someone who can leverage his financial and investment knowledge to provide support to our client, a global business advisory firm.

Our client provides a wide array of services, including financial advisory and M&A, business consulting, information management, company turnaround and restructuring, and leadership and organization effectiveness assessment.

The position requires working on projects across industries, as well as collecting, analyzing, and presenting data through secondary research, including using third-party databases.

The candidate should have excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills. The candidate should also have good communication skills and will be required to interact with consultants over the phone and via Email.

We built our values around always being refreshing, responsive, and rigorous. In our Corporate & Investment Banking division, our clients engage us with us on the following essential tasks and responsibilities :

Working with the Managing Director, Director, and Business Intelligence team of the client, a global management consulting firm, to deliver research and analysis

Reaching out to requestors to get background information, knowledge, or input to develop the storyline and structure for the analysis

Collecting, analyzing, and presenting data through secondary research, including using third-party databases

Delivering insightful financial, situation, and performance analysis through a combination of charts and text

Preparing presentations with business and financial information, news and M&A transactions

Providing accurate / precise levels in the analysis done

What you bring to the role :

Undergraduate degree (see below for details) and the following skills :

Commercial Engineering (Ingeniería Comercial) or Industrial Civil Engineering (Ingeniería Civil Industrial) or Information and Management Engineering (Ingeniería en Información y Control de Gestión)

Between 2 to 5 years of professional work experience in similar roles

Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and PowerPoint (no VBA or programming skills required)

Strong attention to detail

Can do attitude and ability to take initiative

Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and communication skills

Knowledge of financial concepts and financial statements

We'd love to see :

A master's degree in Finance, MBA, or CFA is a plus

Fluency in Portuguese

Desire to build a career in investment research
