Damco is looking for an experienced professional to be the Customer Service Agent to join our Team in Santiago, Chile.

As the Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for delivering Damco's value proposition to its customers through excellent customer service delivery.

  • Key responsibilities

  • Handles Customer service tasks on a daily basis
  • Responds to all enquiries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provides quality service to both internal and external customers
  • Focuses on high-quality data to set a high standard for all the assignments managed.
  • Perform root cause analysis in the event of escalations
  • Timely delivery of information, documents and systems updates
  • Pro-Active Notification of all shipment events
  • We are looking for

  • 2-4 years of experience in customer service related roles.
  • Proficient user of MS Office
  • High English Level (written and spoken)
  • Logistics passionate and oriented person with high sense of urgency
  • Strong knowledge of :

  • Customer Service oriented and time management.
  • Global shipping terms for communication with customers, vendors, carriers, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently
  • Knowledge on forwarding products : Ocean Freight; Airfreight, Inland transportation, Customs coordination, etc.
  • Providers / Vendor Management.
  • Global mindset; able to communicate assertively with stakeholders around the globe.
  • Excellent individual organization skills; good prioritization methods; strong stress management
  • Collaborator, team player, highly productive, eager to learn and excellent work ethics.
