Tractebel Chile is looking for an experienced Business Developer who is energic, autonom, has an outgoing personality, and is capable in presenting himself or herself in a professional manner.

  • Responsible for the sales of engineering services to customers / clients in Chile and other latin America Countries with emphazis to renewable and T&D;
  • products. YOUR FUNCTION Reporting to the Managing director of Tractebel Chile, your main responsibilities will be : - The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of sales - Analyze the commercial results of the product line of its operations, contributing to the elaboration of the Business Plan for the definition of market analysis, sales targets and proposal success rate, aiming at maintaining the commercial coherence in the operations control;
  • Hold a national and international market coverage capacity at advanced level. - Lead the Business Plan together with the Managing Director, the Products Managers and PMs, following the results, identifying corrective actions to remedy possible deviations, aiming to contribute to the business evolution;
  • Develop business strategies, observing market evolution, identifying opportunities and collecting relevant information, aiming to contribute to business expansion;
  • Review and periodically update the business plan market analysis (competitors, potential market and business environment), as a function of business evolution, aiming to contribute to the search for new business opportunities;
  • Supervise the preparation and risk analysis of bids, participate in negotiations and supervise the preparation of contracts, with a view to ensuring the consistency of trade negotiations;
  • Support the Business & Product Lines in customer relations, contributing to the management and resolution of complaints, seeking appropriate and corrective actions, aiming to ensure excellence in customer satisfaction;
  • Develop and maintain good customer relationship for the future growth of the company - Establish and ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems procedures, including engineering, technological and administrative solutions that minimize the impacts on project quality, health, safety and environment.
  • which we are involved in, continually monitoring results to improve the performance of these processes; - Know the principles of ethics and conduct of the company and apply them fully in any situation and other issues that company policies demand PROFILE - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction or related field;
  • at least 5 years previous experience in similar position - CRM experience is a plus - Good knowledge of the computer and the applications relevant to the position;
  • like MS Office suite and ERO systems - Ability to develop and make presentations for existing and prospective customers, in a professional manner - Must have good sales and marketing skills - Possess the ability to cope with stress and effectively prioritize tasks - Must possess effective communication and writing skills - Must have the ability to recognize opportunities and manage budgets effectively - Creativity : Business development engineers must be able to develop fresh ideas and strategies - Effective people skills : He / she must have the ability to handle people no matter how difficult they might seem - Ability to multi-task : He / she must be able to complete several tasks together and meet up with deadlines - Ability to engage in new product / service research for the company - Ability to work under minimal supervision - A comprehensive knowledge of products offered by the company and its applications.

    Knowledge in Energy, Engineering sector is a must (focus within the field of renewable energy is a plus) - You are fluent in English and Spanish Additional Information - Posting Date : Jan 9, 2020
