    Your role as Principal Equipment Automation is to help define and drive roadmaps, manage relationships with suppliers, understand business requirements, make sure solutions are fit-for-purpose and that they deliver planned value to the business.

    About You You are fully committed to sustainable development, health, safety, environmental responsibility and impeccable business conduct.

    You are a person with a drive for continuous learning and adaptable to new technologies. You enjoy introducing high-end technology solutions in capital-intensive industries.

    You will bring your expertise in automation technologies and team management skills to the table to develop internal competence and technical expertise, and to provide leadership for automation teams at Operational Sites.

    You are also an excellent communicator that can manage user expectations, maintaining and developing relationships and dealing with diverse groups.

  • Qualifications - Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Information systems or a related discipline - Further postgraduate qualifications would be well regarded Pivotal Experiences that help to get here - 5+ years’ experience in engineering or technology roles;
  • Industry experience desirable in mining, oil & gas, utilities or manufacturing - 3+ years’ experience in project delivery or consulting roles;
  • project lifecycle experience - strategy, development, implementation and support - Experience in technology development and implementation - Relevant links to industry associations, institutions (e.

    g. universities) to keep informed of emerging technologies Languages - An intermediate level of English, both spoken and written.

    Availability for sporadic travel to mining sites (6-12 times a year) is needed for this role. Please apply submitting an English CV.
