1. People Management
Create a high level of engagement and motivation among the team members.
Lead the Finance team in order to develop the talents, establish a good working enviroment and have a strong team.
Evaluate people s skills, experience and activities with the aim of maximizing the strenghts of colaborators.
2. Financial Closing
Supervises the monthly financial closing with the Finance and the Operations teams on timely basis.
Oversees accounting issues in order to comply with all local legislation and US-GAAP policies.
Generates reports in accordance with HQ requirements and interpreting key financial information.
Monitors and evaluates the performance of accounting and other financial staff, recommend and implement actions for continuos improvement.
3. Auditing, Procedures and Processes
Supervises all finance policies and procedures established at the Organization.
Performs annual reviews on key internal controls and processes, assuring that they follow the policies and procedures.
Assist the internal and external auditings, providing documentation and explanations on processes and controls.
4. Budget and Projections
Provides support for the annual budget and prepares monthly and quarterly forecasts within strict deadlines for reporting Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow.
Prepares reports to extract information from Cognos planning system in order to evaluate the results on a monthly, quarterly and annually (in constant currency) compared to the budget and forecasts.
Ability to work with different systems (ie, planning, Cognos, Hyperion, QAD, and Excel) to prepare and consolidate financial reports.
5. Financial Analysis
Analysis of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash flows from operations) in order to extract and evaluate key business information to support the management team.
6. Analysis of capital expenditure
Prepares and analyzes requests for capital expenditures (based on commercial and financial information), in order to support the approval process.
7. Operational Review
Prepare presentation material Operational Review for the senior management.
8. Analysis of Gross Margin and price support
Performs evaluation of gross margin by type of product lines and indicates discrepancies or sales opportunities, General Manager and Chief Financial Officer.
Parse and execute price updates in the ERP system, after revisions.
Associate must conduct all business and affairs in compliance with all laws and regulations, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Stryker Code of Conduct, and in accordance with the highest ethical standards.
What will you need
Bachelors degree : Major in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics
Masters degree (MBA) in Acct or Fin.
3 years of experience as finance specialist or accountant in finance in multinational companies.
Experience in IT implementations and customizations (business intelligence and ERP)
