As the Key Account Manager you will be responsible for increasing sales revenue and expanding market share in a portfolio of clients, executing the necessary plans to ensure the achievement of the strategic objectives established by the Sales Manager related to distribution, pricing and revenue goals.
The primary functional duty is the responsibility to interact with customers to assess product needs and request sales orders.
You must also address customer inquiries on products, pricing and availability, in E-commerce and Omnichannel. You will need to make regular field visits to develop a relationship with key customers (except in the COVID-19 situation), better understand the local business environment, gain a first-hand understanding of the customer's capabilities, and monitor competitive products available in local markets.
Beyond nurturing and promoting business relationships with existing clients, you will be in charge of identifying potential clients and cultivating emerging business opportunities in an effort to broaden and deepen distribution reach.
Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
Assume responsibility for a complete client portfolio, with the ultimate goal of increasing sales and business profitability to drive sustainable growth.
Responsible for the negotiations under the parameters of the commercial strategy and in compliance with the margins of the company.
Plans with a global vision and long-term strategy, analysis and knowledge of the business, this will include strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of the portfolio strategy.
Sales forecast by customer and SKU.
Control trade discounts, cooperative advertising, price discounts and special programs to secure the Business Plan.
Supervises POS and coordinates the actions to be carried out with Brand Activation and Ecommerce.
Pre-sale and post-sale process.
The entire process of the purchase order between the client and the company.
Recommend products to customers, based on specific customer needs and perceived market opportunities.
Responsible for analyzing sales data to identify customer performance and optimize sales opportunities.
Answer questions about products, prices, availability and credit terms.
Regular meetings with clients to demonstrate and explain the characteristics and attributes of the product.
Collaborate with the OTC team to provide delivery information and coordinate sales order scheduling to customers.
Collaborate with product development to provide delivery information to recommend new products and opportunity size.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
Support collection efforts in the event of non-payment.
Supervise the execution of the planned advertising and promotional programs.
University degree in related disciplines
Solid and relevant experience in all sales disciplines for the omni channel
Working experience in local consumer goods market, with knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling consumer products, including an intimate understanding of consumer dynamics and keen business acumen
Experience working in a matrix environment
Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills, with intermediate Level of English
Understanding of data analysis (GFK) and forecasting methods and highly organized
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specially Excel.
Good ability to work under pressure / meet deadlines with minimum supervision
Strong team working skills
