The main function consists of managing, coordinating and directing the short, medium and long term mine planning processes, as well as its projects and associated complementary activities.

The manager will be responsible for the management of KPI's control and reconciliation processes to ensure the correct execution of the mining plan by the unit operations.

He / she should lead the strategic mining plans to ensure a constant and sustainable growth of the business over time. In addition, he / she should meet the objectives set by management, keeping the focus on safe production, quality and environmental awareness.

Additional Responsibilities : 1. Coordinate, evaluate and manage risk exposures in the different functions and activities with the superintendency's supervisory team on an ongoing basis, to keep the procedures and instructions that define its actions up to date.

2. Coordinate and manage with the Short Term Mine Planning team the procurement of weekly and monthly mine plans as well as the mineral control of its execution.

3. Coordinate and manage resources with the Medium and Long-Term Planning teams. Prepare the forecast and budget for the five-year mine planning and the definition of the company's business plan for this period.

4. Coordinate, manage and control SSP and LOM and Concentrator Project works with the Long Term Mine Planning team. 5. Create, manage and / or control projects associated with the mine or with impact to the forecast or LOM mine plan with the Medium-Term Planning team.

6. Coordinate with the Fragmentation team, the generation of the fragmentation plan associated with mining plans of different scopes, with emphasis on securing crushed ore for the plan and geomechanical control of the slope walls.

7. Manage resources, contracts and coordinate the activities of the geomensura plant and mine, equipment renewal and resource sustainability plan over time with the Senior Engineer in charge.

8. Manage and coordinate with the client and supplier management teams, the correct and fluid information in the appropriate deadlines, in order to optimize the mining plans in execution.

9. Define and maintain policies for the growth and development of supervisors under his / her management. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering.

  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in functions related to the management of work teams in a mining context. - At least five (5) years of experience in human resources and team management.
  • Driver's license class B. - User level computer skills. - Ability to establish good interpersonal relationships and communicate effectively.
