Job Description
This position is responsible for managing the development of marketing programs to maximize customer demand and sales growth for Rockwell Automation’s Metals & Mining Industries.
The position works for the Global Industry Strategy and Marketing Director and must be able to work independently and collaborate with multiple internal organizations and professionals at various levels, globally, including : Regional Sales & Marketing, Industry Teams, Business Units and Marketing Function.
Primary Responsibilities :
Support the industry team defining the marketing strategy and developing marketing programs and assets for the targeted industries
Understand industry and technology trends, customer needs, and channel requirements to develop appropriate programs
Responsible for the overall planning, budget requirements, and delivery of global commercial programs / campaigns that include inbound / outbound marketing, media relations, events, sales enablement, training, and other pre-sale marketing communication tactics working with the broader marketing department at corporate, regions, and business units.
Utilize data to develop stronger insights / business cases for investment areas, market trends, and programs to identify growth strategy and tactics.
Example : using white space analysis for product and solution ABM targets)
Help to define the metrics to measure success, work with local marketing organizations and sales to ensure a successful execution of marketing programs
Work with cross-business (products and services organizations), sales organizations and cross-regional teams (local marketing teams) to develop programs that meet global and local requirements.
Lead / support the development of impactful marketing / sales assets that meet global and local needs
Motivate project team members to deliver programs on time and on budget
Stay abreast of marketing trends and introduce new and creative approaches to marketing programs and assets that grow sales revenue.
Manage and maximize shared services resources (Demand creation, web teams, communications, PR)
Work with the Commercial Engineering and sales enablement organizations to define the main activities supporting Commercial Plan.
Assists in preparation for key Rockwell Automation trade shows and events including strategy, attendee promotions, demos updates, programs / materials, meeting rooms, audio visual, hospitality, graphics, staffing, and other necessary duties to complete a successful show.
Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations as well as RA GSM policies and procedures.
Basic Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications :
Industry knowledge of metals and mining
Understanding of marketing concepts like segmentation, planning tools, sales enablement tools, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use data and quantitative methods to test hypothesis
This position can be based in any country in Latam or US
