This role will focus on Decision Evaluation activities (previously known as Investment Evaluation), whose purpose is lead evaluation activities for decisions related to capital investments, planning, transactions and commercial opportunities across the Company so that the value of every business decision is clear and well informed.
We achieve this by providing independent, robust and high quality economic evaluations of proposed investment opportunities taking in to account risks and uncertainties.
To maximize our influence we operate in a collaborative and commercially astute way.We are seeking candidates at the Manager level to join us in our Santiago office.
About the rolesThis Manager will come from a diverse range of backgrounds including consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, law or engineering.
Irrespective of background, and leveraging strong financial modelling capabilities, they will be able to offer commercial insight, analytical expertise and strategic thinking and have strong communication and leadership skills.
Their primary accountabilities will be to create shareholder value by framing, modelling, evaluating and clearly communicating proposed investments to senior decision-
makers. The resource pool structure enables work and development opportunities across our global PS&D network.Working either independently or in cross-
functional project, planning, commercial or transaction teams, they will be required to influence and challenge thinking, prepare concisely written reports and clearly articulate outputs and insights to senior management and other key stakeholders.
About YouYou will have successfully completed a relevant undergraduate degree and a broadening post graduate finance qualification will be viewed favorably.
Experience within the resources, manufacturing or other process-driven industry would be an advantage but not essential.
