InterSystems has been active in Chile since 2007 and our Trakcare HIS solution is playing a pivotal role in changing the way healthcare is delivered in Chile.
Having initially secured The West Metropolitan Health Service which is part of the National System of Health Services (SNSS).
The main function of this programme is to implement actions for the promotion and protection of health service, as well as the recovery and rehabilitation of patients, who live or work in the territory under their medical responsibility (the western part of the metropolitan area and over 20 health centers)
The implementation of this healthcare information system, which will collect, process and store clinical and administrative data, is the first step of a comprehensive reform proposal from the Chilean Healthcare Ministry.
The proposal’s main objectives are to decrease healthcare costs while improving patient access and overall quality management.
The focus is on exceeding the expectations of millions of citizens who are using the public health system by enabling improved service delivery and high quality care for these healthcare consumers.
