We are seeking for a Global Social Media Specialist, who as part of GHD’s first in-house full service digital agency in Santiago, Chile the Global Social Media Specialist is responsible for building awareness of GHD’s brand and portfolio through a content-rich program of organic social media promotion.

This will involve creating, publishing, and monitoring social content across all platforms, assisting with live stream Q&A analyst interviews and conference presentations, and continuously improving the impact of the overall conference social media program based on key performance metrics.

The Global Social Media Specialist will work closely with the broader team to ensure alignment within the center of excellence and partner closely with regional marketing teams to positively contribute to the success of their most critical priorities.

Candidates must be local as this is not a remote position.

Specific responsibilities will include :

  • Responsible for social media reputational, regulatory and risk compliance. Oversee social media policy and best practices on behalf of GHD including training, standard operating procedures, test and learn opportunities and channel management.
  • Create and schedule organic social media plans to promote GHD’s brand across LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Write and create content to promote GHD’s people, projects, thought leadership, conferences and more including creative concepts for videos, gifs, and social cards.
  • Support Talent Acquisition efforts including management of LI Life pages.
  • Community management respond to comments, mentions, etc.
  • Enact crisis management workflow as needed; work closely with key partners and stakeholders to manage emerging issues / crises on social media via Social Listening and reporting;
  • consult and provide guidance to leadership team

  • Contribute to Social Media Listening Capability including strategy, build, ongoing enhancements, evolution and adoption
  • Coordinate live social feeds when applicable on LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube to drive brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Create a quarterly reporting pack to report on the programs key metrics and provide social media recap reports globally, as well as plan specific metric reports.
  • Responsible for socialization of Social Media strategy with key partners.
  • Own the roadmap for data and MarTech implementations. Collaborate with technology, project management and campaign teams to utilize tech capabilities to maximize customer insights and media efficiency.
  • For success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications :

  • Candidate must be located in Santiago, Chile.
  • Fluent in English.
  • 1-3+ years’ experience with social media experience and / or events marketing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred : Business, Marketing, Communication, Writing / Journalism).
  • Demonstrated experience in social media / and or events marketing.
  • A passion for social media, staying up to date on emerging trends and understanding how social media platforms work
  • Proven track record in creative strategy and innovative thinking; particularly when it comes to social media content calendar planning
  • Highly developed project management skills, able to organize multiple campaigns and all of the elements constituting them.
  • Analytical skills able to pull insights from performance and translate into tactics and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proven track record in creative strategy and innovative thinking; particularly when it comes to social media content calendar planning
  • Experienced in writing creative content for social media B2B preferred.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Experience using social media tools and platforms, eg. Sprout, Hootsuite etc.
  • Adept with spreadsheets and multiple sources of data, utilizing dashboards, metrics, and tools.
  • Marketing campaign production work.
