We are looking for a talented Accounting Manager to join our team!
The Work You'll Do
The Accounting Manager is responsible for all accounting operations, ensuring financial information is reported timely and accurately as well as compliant with the laws and regulations established in Brazil.
More specifically, you will :
Be responsible for managing the Chile s accounting team to ensure proper training and motivation and that they carry out their responsibility to the required standard - special focus on accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks
Oversee day to day processing for all Chile s accounting transactions including AR, AP, other general ledger accounting functions and managing order to cash process
Review Sovos' best practices and ensure all reporting is carried out in line with these policies
Ensure all sales tax and other reporting is carried out within deadlines
Manage cash flow and ensure effective control and reporting of AR / AP
Review, maintain and improve business controls, policies and systems
Support the Global Financial Planning and Analysis team in planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Ensure the month end close is carried out accurately and completed in a timely manner in line with reporting deadlines
Produce an accurate position of the US financial results from an entity and consolidated viewpoint on a monthly basis
What We Need From You
Minimum 6-8 years of progressive professional experience with public accounting and / or software industry experience preferred
Knowledge in NetSuite / Salesforce
Strong Excel skills
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, clear thinker and ability to prioritize effectively
Excellent organizational, time management and decision-making skills
