Job Description

ENGIE Impact is seeking a young professional for our summer internshipprogram, who is ready to put into practice academic and professionalfoundational principles learned through a top undergraduate program in serviceof the sustainability transformation of our clients.

Over the course of this 2-3 month full-time internship , you will work on internal and externalprojects alongside ENGIE Impact’s Sustainability Solutions consultants andunder the direction of a more senior team members.

To broaden your skills, yoursustainability projects may cover a variety of sectors and topics, regardlessof your technical or industry knowledge.

Function

Some of your general responsibilities may include :

  • Contributing to business development through client segment strategy definition, prospecting, and design of specificoffers;
  • helping launch new initiatives and outreach to clients.

  • Conducting research via internal ENGIEexperts and external resources on specific industry trends, markets, orsustainability technologies, quickly becoming an expert on the team.
  • Structuring and leading analysis of datato develop unique insights; developing leave-behind models.
  • Synthesizing research and analysis intocompelling messages; structuring and preparing high-quality client-facingmaterials, such as discussion documents and proposals.
  • Planning andpreparing impactful client meetings using best-in-class digitalfacilitation techniques
  • Helping to design business processes and recommendingimprovements to streamline our internal operations.
  • Frequently collaborating with and receivingcoaching from our senior leadership team.
  • Ad hoc requests made by more senior team leadersto help meet client deadlines or other project needs.

  • Bachelor’sdegree from a preeminent university with a stellar record of academicachievement required (within 10% best of promotion required).
  • Substantial coursework onbusiness strategy; energy and / or sustainability.
  • Fluent spoken and writtenEnglish. This is essential since we work very closely with the US team.
  • Demonstrated proactiveness,leadership and people skills through past experiences in extracurricularactivities and / or references provided.
  • Demonstratedexceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in theusage of digital tools and easiness to tackle tasks that involve coding orlearning a new coding language / software.
  • Developedoral and written communication skills.
  • Capacityto deliver high quality output while managing strict deadlines.
  • Abilityto work collaboratively in a team environment as well as autonomously.
  • Abilityto thrive in a start-up environment that is fast-paced and oftentimesambiguous.
