Position Description :
OE Projects Sales Engineer for Chile is responsible for :
Product positioning and sales to both business and technical users within engineering and contractor firms in Chile,
Direct responsibility for assigned account list plan and HQ customers .
Providing accurate booking forecast on a monthly basis keeping management informed as changes occur.
In charge of identifying all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
E stablishing and maintaining strong relationships with the sales force and the end-user throughout the sales cycle.
Position Requirements :
Knowledge of pumps, seals and application processes in key industrial markets.
Knowledge of conducting business with OE’s sales and capital projects
Marketing expertise including the ability to develop territory marketing plans and strategic objectives to exceed team goals / objectives
Ability to negotiate commercially in the best interest of the company
Strong entrepreneurial skills to effectively promote company products and services.
Effectively organize and ensure regular communication & visits are met with key customers in designated territory.
Ability to work independently and driven by goals and objectives. Ability to identify and to develop new OE customers
Mechanical Engineer Graduate or equivalent degree
Background in sales and marketing or commensurate industry experience with a proven track record of success.
Preferred experience with pumps, seals and related systems in Mining and O&G markets.
Excellent organizational skills required to manage multiple tasks.
Computer proficient with Microsoft Office.
Advanced Level of English written and spoken.
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Outgoing, self motivated and aggressive in establishing customer relationships and developing opportunities.
