Scoot operates fleets of shared light electric vehicles (LEVs) in cities around the world. Each city fleet is comprised of thousands of vehicles, ranging from electric kick scooters to e-
bikes to motor-scooters. Scoot was the first company to make personal electric transportation something that anyone can afford to use.
This type of fast, affordable, sustainable, city-friendly mobility is only possible because of the sophisticated way Scoot operates and maintains its fleets of LEVs.
The company is growing rapidly, both in terms of adding new cities as well as increasing the scale of the city fleets that we operate.
Scoot is looking for a sharp, highly motivated individual to manage vehicle deployment in multiple cities. We are growing the team to rapidly pave the way for Scoot launches in cities across the world.
We are looking for a strong Vehicle Technician with management experience, who loves shared mobility and is knowledgeable about or eager to learn the complexities of this expanding industry.
The Vehicle Deployment Technician will work on our Global Fleet team and deliver on-time deployment of their vehicle class (a team of technicians will report to the Vehicle Deployment Manager or Team Lead).
An extreme attention to detail is key to the role, which involves reading technical documentation, managing contractor assemblers, and triaging + diagnosis of assembled vehicles.
This role will be traveling for the first 6-9 months with a transition in the second half of 2019 to more measured travel for deployment (we're going to get better at this process together!).
Work with Program Managers to communicate issues to suppliers as needed.
